Implementation landscape on S/4HANA Cloud:

SAP Cloud Identity Services seamlessly operates within the Business Technology Platform (BTP) and comprises two distinct tenants: Identity Authentication and Identity Provisioning.

SAP Central Business Configuration, housed in a separate BTP tenant, facilitates the provisioning of Starter, QA, and PROD systems. Here’s an overview of each:

  1. Starter System:
    • Loaded with preconfigured business processes and master data, ideal for conducting “Fit-to-Standard” workshops with customers.
    • Once consultants transition to configuring Quality and Production systems, the Starter system can be retired.
  2. Quality System:
    • Provisioned and configured through CBC (Central Business Configuration) based on data and requirements gathered during Fit-to-Standard workshops.
    • Implementation teams transport configurations to the Quality system in weekly or bi-weekly sprints, followed by rigorous testing of configured processes.
  3. Production System:
    • Provisions through CBC and stays synchronized with the Quality system through regular transports.
    • After configurations are made in CBC, transported to Quality, and thoroughly tested, they can be released to the Production system via CBC.

Experience streamlined workflows and enhanced efficiency with our integrated solutions on the Business Technology Platform.
